150 a day! Every 5 minutes someone dies from an overdose and it is a 72% chance it’s Fentanyl related.
76% of drug-related incidents among individuals aged 14 to 23 involve Fentanyl, with males making up 70% of those affected. People who have previously experienced a overdose are at a much greater risk of facing a fatal overdose in the future compared to those who haven’t.
2,996 people died in 9/11 75 million people died in WW2... currently 22 teens die a week from Fentanyl.
There were 355 recorded overdoses last year(2025) in Taylor County alone with areas 79601 & 79605 having the highest rate of overdoses. Tragically THREE cases resulted in death. 174 of those overdoses were female and 144 were male.
This year there has already been 45 drug related overdoses with 4 being fentanyl related deaths in Taylor county.
